If you're looking for things to do while sheltering in place and the weather is poor try updating your passwords, user ID's and perform some much needed maintenance on your computers.
Check on line for computer software updates, clean out your email client address book, update your spam filters and check those network settings - particularly for those of you who have added wireless "Smart Home" devices like Ring Video Doorbell, wireless thermostats, network video security cameras, appliances from Samsung and Generac generators. In particular, make sure your firewall settings, router and device passwords are in good shape. I recommend 12-15 characters using both upper and lower case, numbers and special characters. If you are using a name or a noun - misspell it. With LOGIN function utilities like Firefox LockWise there is no need to remember strings of complicated passwords.
Finally, take the time to set restore points on your Windows machines and back-up critical data to thumb drives or network drives. I do not recommend cloud back-ups as they are not secure.
Windows 10/Microsoft users - you have my sympathies.
