OK pilots:

You're having to divert to Madisonville (2I0) due to a line of thunderstorms between you and your intended airport. While briefing the approach to RWY 23 you notice the object circled in blue. For 50 points, what does the circled object represent?

For an additional 50 bonus points, where do you find the IAP legend when using either FltPlan, Garmin or ForeFlite products on your tablet?

I haven't seen a reply to this one yet, so: ODALS!

We're going to try to get them at Henderson when we re-work the runway in a couple of years. Can't let Madisonville get ahead of us you know.

Correct! Atta' boy, Kimber.

Point standings:

1,250 - skyterrier (he maintains the forum site)
150 - kimberh (50 points for being correct and a bonus 100 for throwing shade on Madisonville)

Next question:

In reviewing the Madisonville A/FD prior to landing (now CS) data you see a parallel black line with intermittent stripes to the north and west of the main Rwy 5/23. There is a similar but much shorter line from the approach end of Rwy 23 to the ramp.

What does this symbology represent and what is its relationship to amphibious aircraft operations?

This question is worth 50 points (1,000 if you buy me breakfast).

If anyone is receiving posts from the forum but can't submit posts email me at steve@skyterrier.net and I will fix it.

Huge round of thanks to Bill the Rhino for doing this. I know these are being followed because there are a lot of downloads.
