Just to remind everyone it is monthly meeting night, Wednesday, 7pm, 9/10/2014 at Skylane.

We will recap the Wings&Wheels event and discuss up coming events.

Hotdogs & chips along with BBQ pork will be there for those who come hungry.

Bring another member or Friend.

A short 'show n tell' will demostrate how to build one of Jim Weir's base stantion antennas.

A parts list with approximate pricing will be included and most are available at the local 'aircraft parts' store aka Rural King.

I am testing one on my hangar and am pleased with the reception. When I notice one of you flying by, we will test the transmiting side.

I'm thinking it may be wise to push the fly-in, Eagle event to Oct 11. There's several competing events on the 4th, Owensboro Air show, half-marathon, and ALS Walk. My boss at home reminded me we're suppose to do the ALS Walk.

That would be better for me also. I see a HS class breakfast on my calendar for the 9th...

What ever date you guys decide upon is fine with me. Post it under the Young Eagles board index being sure to ask for pilot volunteers to reply so you have and idea of support. The sooner it is posted the better.

Did we want to move the "fly-in" to the 11th as well?

I think the First Saturday Fly-in should remain as is.
