As we increase our community outreach activities in 2018, I have added our monthly meeting schedule to the WFIE events calendar and included the two upcoming seminars on EAA and local EAA chapters.

The seminars are multimedia presentations on the EAA national and local organizations, experimental aircraft, flight training and local aviation interests.

At present we have two scheduled:

Wednesday, January 17th at North Park Library branch @ 6 - 7:45PM

Saturday, January 27th at Oaklyn Library branch @ 2 - 3:30PM

If you'd like to help with any or all of these dates, please let me know.

Bill

I’d like to help, I’ll attend the first to observe your magical oratory skills.

BREAK

I’m going to Oshkosh and want to volunteer, never have. I looked at the EAS website and it said check back in March. I was also thinking of staying at UW. Advice?

Many thanks to those members (both new and old) who participated in last nights discussion. Looking at our mistakes as aviators, lapses in judgement and the consequences of poor piloting skills is never an easy exercise... but it is a necessary component of learning how to fly safer and smarter.

From our discussion I've attached the ASRS reporting form as well as the link to the NASA ASRS web site. Please avail yourself of this important tool (though not too often!).

And don't forget, the first of the two scheduled seminars is next Wednesday, January 17th at North Park library. It begins at 6PM. The second is on Saturday, January 27th at Oaklyn branch at it begins at 2PM.

Please note tonight's seminar scheduled for 6PM at North Park Branch library has been cancelled due to cold and icy road conditions.

Join us on Saturday, January 27th starting at 2PM at Oaklyn Branch Library for the same presentation.
